Welcome to the Dutch Canadian Club (DCC)!
Founded in 1977, the Dutch Canadian Club offers more than just a social club. Through socials and various events the DCC provides the opportunity to form friendships that last a lifetime.
Our mission statement sums it up:
To provide sporting, social and recreational facilities for its members
To participate in and support national and local ethnic, cultural and sporting programs.
The Centre
Gezellig is the Dutch word for hospitality and gezellig aptly describes the atmosphere of our facilities. Our newly renovated building provides modern and functional surroundings for any type of function imaginable.
Members can enjoy a relaxing game of billiards or pool, or belting out a song from a karaoke machine. The Flying Dutchmen Club Room offers a wide selection of recreational activities. Quench your thirst with a glass of ice cold Heineken or Grolsch, treat yourself to any one of our fine Dutch liquers, or enjoy a hot cup of coffee and just socialize with your friends.
Our International Banquet Hall is a perfect setting for many different social functions, from cultural events to weddings, anniversaries, birthday and company Christmas parties. With a stage, kitchen, bar and a huge dance floor it is very popular. Whether the group is smaller (100 guests or less) or bigger (up to 300 guests) the hall can be made very festive with a minimum of decorations.
