1. The DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB hereby grants to the Renter, the right to use the space for a specific duration of time as hereinafter described in the Rules and Regulations of this agreement, for the following purpose or purposes:

2. The space used by the Renter is located at 13312 142 street, Edmonton, AB T5L 4T3. Telephone: 984-4569.

3. The Renter shall use the said space in accordance with the Rules and Regulations hereto specified in this agreement.

4. The Renter shall pay to the DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB, as follows:

Nordic Room a) $400.00 as a holding/damage deposit b) $400.00 as a Rental Fee. c) $3.70 per person as corkage fee (optional) d) $240.00 as bartender (2) fee for the evening (optional) e) Use of AV System is $75.00 extra f) SOCAN charge plus GST is included

5. The Renter agrees to indemnify and save harmless, the DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB and their representatives from all actions, suits, claims and demands, costs and damages arising by reason of injury or death to any person or persons, or damage to any property, resulting from the use and rental of the hall or any portion thereof by the Renter.

6. This agreement, together with the Rules and Regulations hereto specified on the reverse side of this agreement, contain the entire understanding between the parties hereto.

7. This agreement shall bind the respective parties, their heirs, executors, administrators and successors. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this agreement on the date first mentioned

Rules and Regulations

1. (a) The Rental Fee will be refunded in full if THE DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB is notified of the cancellation of the booking at least six months before the date reserved. The Holding/Damage Deposit is likewise refunded.
(b) The Holding/Damage Deposit will be returned as soon as possible after the event, less any amount determined by THE DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB to be reasonable due to damage and extra cleaning charges.
(c) The Holding/Damage Deposit will be $750.00 for the Main Hall or $400.00 for the Nordic Room that must be paid in full at the time of booking the hall.
(d) Important Information: The Rental Fee for the Main Hall will be $750.00 and for the Nordic Room will be $400.00, including GST, which must be paid in full, two months prior to function date. In the event that the full amount is not received by the due date, THE DUTCH CANDIAN CLUB is at liberty to offer your date for rental, and you will forfeit your Booking/Damage Deposit.
(e) If the reservation is cancelled less that six (6) months in advance and more than two (2) months of the date reserved, only the rental fee will be refunded.

2. For any event at which liquor will be served, it is the responsibility of the renter to obtain the appropriate A.L.C.B. approved liquor and licence for the event. The Renter agrees to supply their own bartender or inform the THE DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB if they would like to use their bartenders, for all bar services required. Bar service must end at 1:00am and the premises must be vacated by 2:00am. Any Renter that exceeds this time limit will be charged $75.00 per hour.

3. The Renter is responsible for all arrangements regarding a DJ or band and all related equipment.

4. THE DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB is not responsible for lost or stolen articles of the Renter, its agents, servants, employees, invitees or guests.

5. At any event on THE DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB premises, any direction issued by their agent is to be followed.

6. It will be the duty of the Renter to designate a specific person as contact or “person in charge of the event”. That person must make himself/herself known to the designated representative of THE DUTCH CANADIAN CLUB (usually the bartender) at the beginning of the function.

7. Absolutely no nails, tacks or tape on painted surfaces to be used to hang decorations. Absolutely no confetti (including metallic table confetti), rice or other such substance will be used in and around the hall and grounds. In the event of non-compliance, the damage deposit will be withheld.

8. The acceptance of this agreement by checking the 'I Accept' box below, is an acknowledgment of compliance with the rules as stated above.

Upon confirming this agreement, a comfirmation email will be sent to both yourself at the email address provided as well as the hall manager. Your rental agreement will remain tentative until confirmed by the manager and your deposit paid.
